Dear Parents,
As reported earlier, the Board of Directors has adopted the new STRATEGIC PLAN 2007-2012 at its meeting in December of 2007. Many have participated in this project since the spring of 2007 - all Board Members, staff, faculty, administrators, parents, students and alumni. The Plan covers five core strategic areas: Financial Sustainability, Campus Facilities, Curriculum, Faculty and Staff, and Community.
In February 2008, the Board will meet in a special Retreat Meeting to review the plan with a view to developing priorities and strategies for implementation.

I also want to give you, the parents, the basic dates for the School Calendar 2008-2009 for your advance planning. The detailed calendar is being developed now and will be sent to you in the mail. The main dates are as follows:
First Day of Classes August 13, 2008 Thanksgiving Break November 24-28, 2008 Winter Break December 22, 2008 – January 8, 2009 Spring Break April 9-21, 2009 Kindergarten Advancement Ceremony May 21, 2009 8 th Grade Advancement Ceremony May 27, 2009 6 th Grade Advancement Ceremony May 28, 2009 Senior Graduation May 29, 2009 Finally, a reminder that it is very important that you return the re-enrollment forms and deposits, as well as the Health Form, in a timely fashion and certainly by the stated deadlines. It is crucial for us to ensure that we are able to properly manage all new enrollments and make all other advance planning in a systematic and orderly way. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.
