Baldwin Math Teams Win the Baldwin Invitational Math Bowl Cup
Baldwin School hosted its Annual Invitational Math Bowl competition on February 26, 2010. The competition format consists of the Middle School and High School categories and all schools bring representatives for each. A couple of years ago, the Math Bowl coordinators decided to recognize the school with the highest combined score for both its teams by awarding the Baldwin School Math Bowl Cup. Despite our efforts, we had never been able to secure that coveted cup…until now.
The judges were very impressed with the performance of the Middle school team whom received perfect scores in EVERY problem. At the conclusion of the competition, in a very exciting turn of events , the High School team was able to move up from 5th place to first place in the last problem of the competition!! In the end, their final score combined with the Middle School team’s scores, secured Baldwin the BALDWIN MATH BOWL CUP for the first time in our own home!!
