The Capital Campaign for the Innovation Center and New Libraries

Let's Open the Doors to Innovation!

At Baldwin school, we are committed to providing our students with a world-class education. With this goal in mind, we are planning to build a much needed addition to our campus - The Innovation Center for Science, Technology, and Engineering.

The Innovation Center will include an all new middle and upper school library. The current library space will be remodeled exclusively for OECC and Elementary students.

Upon completion of this Capital Campaign, in conjunction with the International Baccalaureate program, we will be a world-class institution without peer in the Caribbean. Let’s make this happen!

Innovation Center

for Science, Technology, and Engineering

Baldwin School of Puerto Rico is in the planning stages of a new building structure: The Innovation Center for Science, Technology and Engineering. This new 2-story building will be located adjacent to the existing Administration Building on the site currently occupied by the school's Infirmary. The primary purpose of this facility is to provide the school with an environment where students can focus on subjects like Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in order to gain the skills required to succeed in today's challenging world, which includes the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive advancements in science and technology. The center is intended as a playground for students who aspire to become future scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs. The Center will also house the Upper School Library and Media Center which will be a state of the art 21st century learning environment that will foster a love for reading, collaboration and promote the effective use of information and communications technology.

The main goal of the project is to create a fun, child-friendly environment that is conducive to reading, learning and collaboration. The space is envisioned as one with a variety of seating arrangements, where books are made attractive by the use of displays and interactive shelving where children can connect to content in the space. The facility shall be state-of the-art with the latest technology infrastructure throughout. Clear signage shall be provided for ease of finding.
