Admissions Policy


At The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico, we seek to ensure that all students admitted to the school will thrive in an environment of high academic expectation, will be able to benefit from the rounded education provided and be happy within the school community. Minimum age requirements for applicants entering OECC PPK-PK-K and Elementary 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade as follows:
3 years of age by July 31st for Pre Pre Kinder
4 years of age by July 31st for Pre Kinder
5 years of age by July 31st for Kindergarten
6 years of age by July 31st for 1st grade
7 years of age by July 31st for 2nd grade
8 years of age by July 31st for 3rd grade
 
  • All requirements must be complete before any recommendation for admission can be made.
  • After review by the Admissions Committee further documentation may be required
  • An interview with the parents and Admissions Committee may be required.
  • Admission of a student is based on space availability, a satisfactory record of conduct, academic achievement, and recommendations for admission made by the Admissions Committee.
  • We reserve the right to accept any admission application to 11th and 12th grades based on Baldwin School’s IB Diploma Program graduation criteria and admission requirements. If you’re interested in applying to 11th or 12th grade please contact the Admission Office before you begin the application process.
