Extra Curricular Activities

National and Junior National Honor Society This is a national organization where students are selected by a faculty council based on four criteria-scholarship, service, leadership and character. Once inducted into the NHS or NJHS students participate in numerous service oriented activities.
   
Student Council

The Student Council is a representative group of officers elected by the student body. This organization functions effectively in expressing student views, in the formulation of school policies and in sponsoring social and service activities for the student body.

   
Math Club Students involved in this club are challenged in math concepts and skills beyond those taught in the math curriculum. These students participate in interscholastic math competitions held throughout the year.
   
Science Club Students who join this club will participate in a number of activities that help to enhance our science program and enable students interested in science to learn more about topics, experiments and issues related to the scientific world. Activities include things like star gazing, turtle watching, organization of blood drives, field trips, conferences and many more.
   
Golden Key Club Members of this club assist our Admission Office in touring prospective families and also in the preparation of our annual Open House.
   
Reach Club This is a social service club and students who belong to it participate in activities that allow them to experience social and community service.
   
Forensics Students in this club participate in an important annual interscholastic speech competitions.
   
Other clubs and organizations: Photography Club, Art Club, Yearbook, Band, United Nations.
