This year's Family Day, The INTERNATIONAL FIESTA, was a tremendous success due to the hard work of the PTO and the many volunteers - students, teachers, parents - who came forward to help with the incredible preparations and organization an event of this scope requires.
I want to thank and congratulate PTO president Tish Grosek and her two Co-Chairs, Deanne Douglas and Diane Bloodworth, for taking the leadership in this endeavor. We are all indebted to them not only for their determination in making this happen, but for what turned out to be a warm and intimate gathering of our community - around cocktail tables and the beautiful country stands at the outdoor sports court and in the large tent on the field. This splendid day of community and diversity has set a new standard, in both organization and spirit.These pictures reflect much of that spirit, and I am sure there are terrific moments and memories everyone has taken from the International Fiesta.
