To honor José de Diego, the 10th grade PR History class celebrated by reflecting on his contributions as a respected poet, journalist, orator, lawyer, and most importantly his impact on Puerto Rico as a firm defender of our identity. The class began by reciting one of his poems, followed by a discussion on how relevant it is during these hard times; showing the attitude we need to have.

As part of our unit: "Sharing the planet - Citizens in the Making", our PPK Rainbow students explored important citizens in the community. They chose their favorite and wanted to share what they learned with the Baldwin Community. We are so proud of our knowledgeable Rainbow students.
