On February 26, the Senior Class went on a field trip that explored the Afro Caribbean roots in the poetry of Julia de Burgos. They visited the studio of Samuel Lind, where they had the opportunity and privilege of meeting this renowned Puerto Rican artist and receiving an art and cultural lesson. They also visited the mausoleum built to Julia de Burgos in Carolina and the Museum of this City. It was a magical experience of poetry and color!
