Une soirée de tous à Baldwin School!

Last Thursday, February 26th at the Baldwin School Visual and Performing Arts Center, an amazing “Soirée française” (French Night) took place. This year, the French Club, an ensemble of French students, and French Teacher Paola Marchena, chose to recreate the City of Lights into the City of Love. The evening was titled “Une soirée dans la ville the l’amour” recalling the romantic atmosphere in the unique city of Paris.

The whole evening transported the audience with an artistic and gastronomical French experience. Guests were entertained by a series of French song and poetry performances, while enjoying a full French dinner – all of which was presented by students who worked as chefs, waiters, hostesses, presenters, and performers.

Proceeds benefitted the French Club cooking class equipment, and the “Santuario San Francisco de Asís” in Cabo Rojo in collaboration with the Baldwin National Junior Honor. This extraordinary activity was possible thanks to the collaboration of about 100 people among students, parents, school administration and faculty. Merci beaucoup et à la prochaine!
