Six MUS Baldwin’s Chess Club members represented our school in the 34th Ignacio de Loyola Chess Tournament at Colegio San Ignacio this past weekend. All-day-long event for more than 150 chess players from around the Island, including students from schools, universities, and alumni.
- Sixth graders Javier Blanco and Charlie Riley won 4th and 5th place, respectively, obtaining an overall 2nd place as a team in the Elementary (4th to 6th) grades category.
- Diego Rivera, solo in Intermediate, won 4 games out of his 6.
- Alejandro Gracia(11th), Allan Habibe(11th), and Adrian Mendez(10th) reached 3rd place as a team (together with two other schools) in the High School (10th to 12th grades) category, playing against teams with more than 10 players and players ranked in the FIDE!
