The Innovation Center at Baldwin
Let's Open the Doors to Innovation!
At Baldwin school, we are committed to providing our students with a world-class education. With this goal in mind, we are planning to build a much-needed addition to our campus - The Innovation Center.
Innovation Center
The Innovation Center will offer a cafe style e-library, diverse individual and small group work stations, fluid ideation/production spaces, and university-grade scientific laboratories. The facility is a game-changer in secondary education. We are committed to designing and constructing purpose-built spaces that support research literacy and multimedia, computer sciences, applied sciences, and secondary/tertiary language acquisition and development. This center will address the need for maker spaces that foster ideation, design thinking, prototyping, beta testing, and evaluation; as well as additional Middle-Upper School classroom spaces and a new nurse’s station.
The Innovation Center will provide the school with an environment where students can gain the skills required to succeed in today's challenging world, which includes the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive advancements in science and technology. The center is intended as a playground for students who aspire to become future scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. The Center will also house the Upper School Library and Media Center which will be a state of the art 21st-century learning environment that will foster a love for reading, collaboration and promote the effective use of information and communications technology.
