A group of our administrators and M/US teachers recently returned from a trip to Washington D.C. where they visited four schools offering exemplary IB programs. Mr. James Nelligan, Mrs. Elimari Sanchez, Mrs. Laura Maristany, Mrs. Dora Ramirez, Ms. Lucia Fayad and Ms. Paola Marchena had the opportunity to witness how the IB diploma and MYP programs are implemented at the British School of Washington, The Islamic Saudi academy, Washington International school, and Alice Deal Middle school. It was a very valuable exchange of ideas and a great opportunity for collaboration between Baldwin and these other fine schools, who were extremely gracious and helpful to our teachers and administrators. This is just the first of many future opportunities to visit other schools that have been IB World Schools for several years. These exchanges give us further insight and ideas that will continue to enhance our programs here at Baldwin School.
