Camila Quiñones joins Baldwin at the OECC as PK Green Triangle teacher assistant.  Before coming to BWN, she was an Early Childhood teacher at Cupeyville School. Camila has a BA in Education, with a major in Preschool from University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón campus

 
 
   

Yadira Rivera joins the OECC as Mrs. Claudia Miranda Kinder 2 teacher assistant. Yadira, before coming to BWN, was a Kindergarten teacher in Colegio Marista in Manatí. Ms. Rivera earned her graduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón campus, she is also a certified teacher in TESOL.

 
 
   

Diana Sostre is our most recent addition to the OECC. Ms. Stephanie's Kinder 4 teacher assistant. Before coming to BWN, she was a tutor at Colegio Marista in Guaynabo. Diana has a BA in Communication from University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in the School of Psychology at University Carlos Albizu.

 

Elementary School

 
 
   

Mariana Toro joins the Elementary as a first-grade assistant. Mariana holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from Skidmore College in NY. She previously worked at a public school for guided reading in New York (Kinder - 4th Grade). Ms. Toro also holds a Masters Degree from NYU in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

 
 
   

Kamelia Castellon joined Baldwin Elementary as Mrs. Nakachi's second-grade Assistant. Kamelia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Kinder - 3rd Grade) at Recinto de Ciencias Médicas (UPR) and a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Kamelia is currently working on another Masters degree in Reading, Writing, and Children's Literature. Before coming to BWN, she worked as a Pathologist in Clinica PIES, as well as a Teacher assistant at Cedin.

 
 
   

Amanda Quintero joins the Elementary as the 4th-grade Teacher Assistant. Amanda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Microbiology from (UPR Mayagüez) Previously she worked as a Material Purchasing Assistant at the Montesori en Instituto Nueva Escuela.

 
 

Middle-Upper School

 
 
   

Ms. Nicole Vizcarrondo joined the MUS Math department teaching in the 7th grade. Before BWN, Ms. Vizcarrondo taught Math to students from 7th to 10th grade. Nicole holds a degree in Math from the University of Puerto Rico. She is currently completing her graduate degree. 

 
 
 
   

Ms. Gabriela Calzada joined the MUS Spanish department and will be teaching 6th grade. Ms. Calzada holds a degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Puerto Rico, and a graduate degree in Spanish Studies also from the UPR. Before BWN, Gabriela taught Spanish and Literature classes.

 
 
   

Mrs. Claudia Reyes joined the MUS English department and will be teaching 10th grade and DP English. Mrs. Reyes holds a degree in English Literature and Psychology from Villanova University, PA, and a graduate degree in Teaching English from the University of Puerto Rico.

 
 
   

Mr. Jocsan Rivera also joined the MUS English department and will be teaching DP English. Before coming to BWN, Mr. Jocsan taught English at a high school in Maryland. Jocsan holds a degree in English Language Arts Education from Auburn University, AL. He's also IB DP Language and Literature certified.

 
 
   

Mr. James (Cullen) Sacha joins the MUS and will be teaching DP Theory of Knowledge. Mr. Sacha holds a degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Georgia, and a graduate degree in Teaching Social Studies from Emory University. Cullen also has another graduate degree in Philosophy from Georgia State University. Before BWN, he was a teacher in Ohio and Georgia.

 
 
   

Mr. Raul Jimenez joined the MUS Design and Robotics department where he will be teaching MS and US Design and Robotics. Mr. Jimenez holds a degree in Foreign Language and Spanish from the University of South Florida, and a graduate degree in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix. He is currently working on a second graduate degree in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Puerto Rico. Mr. Jiménez used to teach computer science at Colegio San Ignacio.

 
 
   

Ms. Kelianet Roque also joined the MUS Design department where she will be teaching MS Design and overseeing the Science lab. Ms. Roque holds a degree of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.

 
 
   

Mr. Nelson Febo joined BWN as MUS' new Media Specialist Librarian. Before coming to Baldwin, Mr. Febo was a journalist and a radio broadcaster for Radio Universidad de PR. He holds a degree in Information and Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico, and a graduate degree in Information and Science Technology also from UPR.

 
 
   

Mrs. Maraliza Pagán joined the MUS where she will be teaching MYP Drama and directing our theater programs. Mrs. Pagan holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico Law School. She has also studied at William Paterson University and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Theater arts have been a persistent passion. Mrs. Mara is not new to Baldwin, she has been working at BWN since 2013, as a Third Grade assistant, teaching Spanish as a Second Language, and partnering with the Middle/Upper School Drama teacher in the school’s musical every spring. She founded the school’s Elementary and Middle/Upper School Glee clubs and has coached our vocalists through multiple performances in Dia Puertorriqueño, Family Day, and Music Fest.
