What are your Hobbies?

Building puzzles and watching movies  /series!
 

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know.

I learned how to make milk products in college (ex: butter, yogurt, ice cream... etc), and I'm certified in artificial insemination for cows.

My sister (Ms. Gina Torres)

 

What did you do before coming to BWN / or here at BWN?

I was a laboratory instructor or TA at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus for 2 years where I taught 1) Practices in Animal Sciences, 2) Animal Nutrition, and 3) Milk and Milk products

I love to exercise, go to the beach and spend time with family and friends.

I was on the Judo the Puerto Rico Team for many years.

I was a teacher and volleyball coach at another school.

What did you do before coming to BWN / or here at BWN?

Before Baldwin, I was working at Academia San Ignacio as a Preschool teacher. I also worked at CPN as a Teacher Assistant in the preschool.

Reading mystery/thrillers, going to the beach and organizing.
 

If you could have anyone as your teacher, who would you pick (real or fiction)?

Probably Miss Fizzle from the Magic School Bus because she taught her class through exciting field trips. Talk about 'hands on'.

I actually attended Baldwin during my elementary years (2nd-6th grade). Mrs. Escriba, Mrs. Maldonado (Mayra), and Mrs. Nakachi were all my teachers in 3rd grade.

 

Who inspires you?

My family.

 

What did you do before coming to BWN / or here at BWN?

Prior to moving back to Puerto Rico, I had been teaching for 7 years in a dual language public school in Washington Heights, NYC called Dos Puentes Elementary. In my years there I taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade.
