MUS Science teacher James Otero participated as a guest panelist in the 1st roundtable series for ABE Teachers. All participants discussed how to integrate LabXchange with ABE and Science instruction. LabXchange is a research platform for science instruction created by Harvard University (labxchange.org) and ABE is the Amgen Biotech Experience program. ABE provides science instructional materials for teachers and also provided the funding to Harvard to create Labxchange. Thus the idea was how to incorporate the materials provided by ABE with the Labxchange platform to improve science education. Mr. Otero talked about how to improve science education with differentiated instruction by using Labxchange in the science classroom. Teachers from different parts of the world participated in the discussion. Keep up the great work, Mr. Otero!
