Every year our 4th-grade students engage in a community service project, and this year the organization they worked with was Samaritan’s Purse, a humanitarian aid organization that provides aid to people in physical need as missionary work. For this activity, each student had to fill and decorate a shoebox, or something similar with items such as toys, hygiene and/or school supplies, or any other special treat like socks, bracelets, etc. ALL the boxes were delivered to the Operation Christmas Child center to be shared with children in need during the holidays. Kudos to our 4th grade and thanks for delivering smiles this holiday season!
