Meet BWN’s New Leadership Team! ✨ ✨ ✨

 
Please help us welcome, In the OECC and Elementary, PYP IB Coordinator Janelle Méndez and Elementary School Principal, Sarah Loinaz Martin, and in the M/US, MYP Coordinator, Gregorio Vázquez and MUS Principal Dora Ramírez!
 
⭐️ Janelle Méndez joined BWN’s OECC in 2015 as a PPK teacher assistant after teaching first graders in a small school in San Juan. Janelle has grown at BWN first becoming a PPK teacher and now taking on her new role of PYP IB Coordinator.
 
⭐️ Sarah Loinaz Martin has been a member of the BWN family for quite some time… Sarah is an alumna from the class of 1996. She rejoined Baldwin as a faculty member in 2000 as an OECC teacher assistant. The mother of two BWN students, Sarah continued to climb the professional ladder, becoming an elementary teacher in the fourth and first grades. In 2014, with the introduction to our new IB curriculum, Sarah was hired as our first Primary Years Program (PYP) coordinator and now has taken on the new role of Elementary School Principal.
 
⭐️ Gregorio Vázquez joined Baldwin’s MUS Spanish department in 2016. Before teaching MYP 2, 3, and 4- Spanish Language and Literature classes at BWN, he was a student himself, Acquiring an MA in Spanish Linguistics. He now takes on his new role in the Baldwin family as MYP IB Coordinator.
 
⭐️ Dora Cristina Ramírez has been part of the BWN family for 23 years! She has taken on many roles during her tenure as a History and Psychology teacher in the Middle /Upper School including the History Department Subject Area Leader, Student Council Advisor, and Dean of Students. This August she took on her exciting new role as Middle Upper School Principal!
