Congratulations to Alejandra Diaz Miranda '28, Semillas de Triunfo Program Ambassador.
She was required to develop a project related to any aspect of the STEM fields that will impact a specific group of students. She selected and invited 4th grade Baldwin Elementary School students to our MUS laboratory. Her purpose was to spark students' interest in the STEM fields and give them the opportunity to explore and be curious about science.
Mr. Martinez aided Alejandra by offering a science field overview and its three major branches of science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) including a brief demonstration of each branch. Students then got to perform the Elephant Toothpaste experiment. They fully enjoyed the activity and had a great scientific experience.
