Baldwin students, Lucas Blanco and Santiago Ramirez are members of the 13U (13 years old or under) Elite players, Conquistadores de Guaynabo Club. They were chosen to be part of a team representing Puerto Rico in the Mediterranean International Cup in Girona, Spain.
This was the only Puerto Rican team among 50 of Europe's best club teams in their age group. They finished ranked #14 out of 50 in the Gold Bracket of the tournament.
The boys said their favorite thing about playing the MIC was meeting kids from other countries and having the opportunity to play a higher level soccer.
