On April 24-28, our Upper School Science team traveled to Washington D.C to represent Puerto Rico at the National Science Bowl competition sponsored by the Department of Energy. These students were: Francisco Bresciani, Fernando Ortíz, Sebastián Quiñonez, Antonio M. and Antonio J. Leal
While at Washington, they received two surprises. The first, Mr. James Nelligan traveled there to surprise them and wish them luck. The second, Mr. Luis López from the Office of our Resident Commissioner in Washington D.C., Mr. Pedro Pierluisi, approached our students to give them a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for representing Puerto Rico at this competition.
Congratulations to our students and their Science teacher and Coach, Mrs. Inés Muñíz for such an amazing year filled with many notable accomplishments.
