Model United Nations Club earns many awards in latest competition

Students were assigned delegations in 6 different committees ranging from Operation Protective Edge, a futuristic committee that dealt with the colonization and militarization of space, to the Roman Senate, a historical committee that addressed the fall of the Roman republic and its aftermath. Other committees included: Sharia Law, Paris Peace Conference, Israel/Palestine, and Agricultural Eugenics.

At this competition, not only did Baldwin send competitors, but Luis Ballester ’14 served as co-chair and organizer of the committee on Agricultural Eugenics, and Emmanuel Kontokalos ’14 provided similar guidance for Operation Protective Edge.

We would like to involve the entire Baldwin community in the celebration of the club’s success, and encourage a shout out to all participants and their valiant efforts.
