José Molina-Vázquez (’05) holds a Master of Science in Space Studies from International Space University in Strasbourg, France. Molina and 4 partners have organized the Caribbean Space Summit 2014, to be held on Saturday, Oct 11th at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. This summit focuses on commercial space travel, its scientific and social challenges, and its potential. By collaborating with several sponsors, this will be the first summit about commercial space to be held in the Caribbean.

The event will feature many speakers who represent space leadership, business, policy, safety, finance, entrepreneurship, education, advocacy and those interested in shaping the program of Space economy in the Caribbean. Our own Mrs. Gail Riordan, M/US teacher and NASA Space Camp trip coordinator, will be one of the invited speakers.
