Thanks to all who participated in Night @ Mardi Gras!

On November 15th, the Advancement and Development Office hosted its second Annual Benefit Night with the theme of Night @ Mardi Gras.  The VPAC was beautifully decorated using the emblematic Mardi Gras colors of purple, gold, and green, and New Orleans culinary staples such as gumbo, jambalaya, and a fresh oyster station were some of the dining options.  One of the definite highlights of the evening was the entertainment. Guests sang and danced the night away to the songs of Cuenta Regresiva and thoroughly enjoyed the Baturiken batucada that surprised everyone towards the end of the evening. Once again, the live and silent auctions were a complete success so we take this opportunity to thank each of the collaborators who donated an item or service to be auctioned that evening.

Most importantly, we thank everyone who bought a ticket, an auction item, or pledged their support at a larger scale.  In the end, we raised close to $75,000 towards the Innovation Center. After all the hard work, it is a reward to see everyone enjoying the evening and having a nice time, but the remarkable feeling of having our vision be supported and believed in is where our true gratitude lies. THANK YOU ALL and SAVE THE DATE for next October 17, 2015 when our Fall Benefit night will have the theme of Night @ Octoberfest!
