Family Science Night at Baldwin

The Family Science Night was a daylong program of Science activities in which children worked on simple, age-appropriate, inquiry-based science activities to stimulate an interest and excitement in Science.

All supplies and instructions were provided and students were encouraged to work at their own pace. Upper school students led the activities. Students from 3rd to 8th grade were invited to the event with their parents in the evening and younger students visited during the school day with their classes. Families were encouraged to better understand the scientific method and enjoy science, rather than memorize scientific concepts.

The activity also included exhibitions from the Baldwin's Robotics Club and Bat Protection Program, Ecoexploratorio, Aparicio, and DRNA's and NOAA's Lion Fish awareness project.

Thank you to all of the teachers and students who made this day so great. We look forward to another awesome Family Science Night next year!
