21 Baldwin Students participated in the 2015 American Mathematics Competition 10/12

Each year the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) runs a series of competitions. On Tuesday February 3, 2015, twenty-one students from Baldwin School participated in the 2015 AMC 10/12 competition.

"The main purpose of the AMC 10/12 is to spur interest in mathematics and to develop talent through the excitement of solving challenging problems in a timed multiple-choice format."


The following students, in order of their scores, had the highest scores out of the 21 students from Baldwin who participated:

11th and 12th grade for the AMC 12

2) Fernando Ortiz - 12th

and tied in third place
3) Roberto Reyna - 11th
3) Camila Rivera - 11th

7th - 10th grade for the AMC 10

1) Devon Miller-Junk - 9th
2) Garrett Miller-Junk - 7th
3) Nicholas Binyon - 10th
