Baldwin Celebrates Literacy

This 4-day event will feature special presentations to students during town hall meetings as well as a Book Fair with literature for all ages. Mark your calendars and join us on March 16-19, 2015 at the VPAC!

Baldwin School of Puerto Rico recognizes the value of literacy in nourishing the minds of life-long learners. We unite in celebration of this acknowledgement, with our inaugural Baldwin Literacy Week at the VPAC. The book fair this year will feature literature for students of all ages, ranging from preschool to the upper school grades. You do not want to miss an opportunity to enjoy the many titles that will be offered in English and Spanish. Remember that participating in the book fair contributes to the continued growth of our libraries.

We will be opening the week with “OECC Day at the Book Fair”. Grandparents will read with our kids and tag along for the book fair experience. Throughout the week, we will be hosting events within our town halls that will feature our administrators, teachers and staff sharing their love of literature and how it has played in an integral role in building their character. A rotating schedule will allow Baldwin students to visit the book fair and make purchases throughout those four days. As always, the book fair will also be open before school (8:00-8:30 am) and after school (3:00-3:30 pm).
