A school full of Caribbean pirates welcomed Andy on his first day at Baldwin.
Over the past couple of years, we got to know Andy through the wonderful Global Art Exchange adventure that Socorrito and her students have been on. Last year, Andy and his students visited with us many times through Skype. This year we get to visit with him in person!
During his visit, Uncle Andy was co-teaching art classes with Mrs. Socorrito, and joining us as our Global Art Exchange visiting artist for Art Week!
Andy visited many sites around Puerto Rico including the rainforest, museums and San Juan. Mrs. Socorrito and her students also brought Uncle Andy to meet Governor Alejandro García Padilla at La Fortaleza!
It has been a true honor for all of us to welcome Andy into our Baldwin family!
