On Tuesday May 12, 2015, the Senior Class welcomed Dr. Rafael Cox Alomar, an expert in History and International law, as the culminating activity of their Puerto Rican History Project: Issues and Challenges of the Post Industrial Era. In a very inspiring conference, Dr. Cox Alomar talked to the students about the economy and especially about the cabotage laws. After answering their questions, he urged students to be hopeful, to work to achieve their goals and to, no matter where they end up, give back to our island, by being examples of hard work, dignity and honesty. Thanks to Maritza Irizarry, who sponsored this activity and welcomed the Senior Class in the Library.
