Parent Teacher Conference reminder

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Friday, October 30th. If, for any reason you are unable to attend the Parent/Teacher Conference, please re-schedule a meeting with your child’s homeroom teacher.

CLASSES WILL NOT BE IN SESSION for elementary students from first through fifth grade. Midterm Progress Reports will not be mailed home, but will be handed out and discussed with you during this conference day.

If you would like to meet with any other of your child’s teachers they will be available in the following rooms: Spanish teachers (Room #18), P.E. teachers (Elementary Office), Music teachers (Room #19), Art teacher (Room #16) and Computer teacher (Room # 15).

We would also like to invite you to stop by and visit our new music and art rooms. The rooms will be open so please feel free to go in. The contractor is still putting some finishing touches in them and we are waiting for the permits for us to be able to use the facilities. The new spaces are wonderful and I know our students are truly going to enjoy them.

 

MIDDLE UPPER SCHOOL:

M/US progress reports were sent through Managebac on Friday, October 16. The M/US Parent/Teacher Conference Day is on Friday, October 30.  Teachers will be available in their classrooms for short conferences with you by appointment only, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm.  If you have not received an appointment request, it means no appointment is necessary.  If you would like to schedule an appointment, please e-mail the teacher directly or call the M/US office at ext. 222 or 225.  Please be aware that teachers will be out to lunch from 11:30-1:00 P.M.
 
There will be No School on this day for students in grades 6-12. 
 
Please keep in mind that the marking period closes in December. You will receive an official report card in January and our first semester Honor Roll Assembly will be on Friday, January 22 from 1:30 pm-3:00 pmin the VPAC.
