Mrs. Tere Ledesma’s Honors Physics class midterm project was Roller Coasters! The coasters had to be built so that they were no more than a meter high, had one loop and a second elevation, and would work with a car (Hot Wheels or similar) and a golf ball. After safely traversing the track, the car and ball had to come to a stop. The students put in practice the lessons of acceleration, gravity, friction, potential and kinetic energy.
