Baldwin School Community Service club is collaborating with Habitat for Humanity

The Baldwin School Community Service Club was given the opportunity to collaborate with Habitat for Humanity to renovate a house which will be given to a single mother who received helped from MATRIA; an organization that supports economically and emotionally families who have suffered as a result of domestic abuse. Baldwin students will be working at the build site during the month of April and are also collecting supplies for the project.

Throughout the year, the club has held a series of activities such as "The Girl In You" Sleepover, Penny Wars, Movie Night/ Food Truck Festival, bake sales, and casual days that raised funds for the project. However, it is greatly appreciated if some of the members our Baldwin community are able to donate materials from the list attached below; or donate their time as volunteers.

Supplies will be collected during all of March and April. Donations can be delivered to MUS Room 8.

Volunteers: Baldwin community adults and students 16 or over, are invited to volunteer during the construction in Bayamón. Work days will be every Saturday during the month of April. If you are interested please contact: Paola DeOrbeta [email protected]

The Community Service Club thanks you for your support!
