An open letter from a Baldwin Parent

To all Baldwin School Staff

Hi.

Congratulations to the Headmaster, Directors, Principals, Teachers and all the staff for working towards the achievement of the Authorization of Baldwin School of Puerto Rico as an International Baccalaureate for the Elementary Primary Years Program.

Me and my family acknowledge the great work you are all doing in providing the best education to our children. We are confident that with the education they receive they will have the best tools to confront with the "real" world, when they will be able (and will also have the need) to contribute positively to their individual success, to their community, to the progress of this special island and certainly of the world.

Well educated persons, with great human values and sensitivity for the needs of the future and capable of resolving problems, is what society needs to restore confidence and bring hope for the generations to come. Baldwin School of Puerto Rico has been forming these kind of persons for years .

Of course your efforts are not the only ones needed, in order to be successful in achieving these goals, the families have to be an integral part of the education of their children. We have to keep working at home to reinforce the educations and values learned at school. We have that responsibility as well. We have to assume it.

Thank you Baldwin School of Puerto Rico.

And as our Headmaster says; "See you around campus!"

Sincerely,

Antonio J. Álvarez and María Cristina Ávarez
