Hello My Name Is...

Any issues you are passionate about?

I am extremely passionate when it comes to animals. I wish I could foster but I don't have much free time. I try to donate as much as I can and create awareness.

If you could have anyone as your teacher, who would you pick?

My great grandfather because he was very sweet, driven and humble. I only knew him for about 6 years but I feel like so many of my values come from his teachings.

Where did you grow up?

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Have you lived in any other countries?

No. I love traveling but I get homesick after a month.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know.

I am slowly but surely becoming obsessed with plants. I feel like my apartment is going to be like a scene out of “Poison Ivy”. Also, I just finished my MS in School Psychology, yay!

Name one thing on your bucket list.

Traveling to Italy with my parents and soon-to-be husband.

Who inspires you?

My parents. EVERY DAY.

What do you like about your job?

I like that I'm helping children get the basic tools. I love being able to create unique relationships with each one and helping them achieve the confidence they need to surpass their own expectations. Also, I get to spend a ton of time with two of my nieces.

What's your favorite thing to do in Puerto Rico?

Road trips, relaxing and going back to my parents' house to hang out with them.

What are your top five personal values?

Family-orientedness, accountability, reliability, happiness and generosity.

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

I can't sing because my voice gets worse every passing day but I love music and I know way too many lyrics.
