College Counseling

At Baldwin, our goal is to make each student's college search an opportunity for growth, discovery, and self-evaluation. Students will learn to identify their goals and interests, manage a dynamic process, and make confident decisions regarding their future education. We aim to create an environment that will encourage open-mindedness and collaboration between students and parents. Our college counseling program will serve as a support and resource for parents and students throughout the process. We hope to ensure that when our students graduate that they will matriculate to colleges and universities that reflect their values, personalities, and academic interests.

"As a service to students and families, NACAC has created an online tool that is a central resource on changes to the college admission process due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The tool includes information from colleges and universities nationwide on campus closures, deposit deadlines, and other admission-related changes."

The NACAC tool updates automatically in real-time as NACAC receives input from universities.

The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), International Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC), and Southern Association for College Admissions Counseling (SACAC) and we adhere to the policies governing communication between school and colleges endorsed by their Code of Ethics and Professional Practices.

"Celeste and Orlando would always have their office open to just come in and talk. Talking to them became a part of my daily routine my last months at Baldwin."
