24-25 Application Process, Requirements, and Timeline

OECC Grades PPK, PK, Kinder

Step 1 - Submit Student Application Form
Step 2 - Open your Admissions Portal Account
Step 3 - Log in to your account and activate the application by processing the $150 Admission Application Fee
Step 4 - complete the following items on your Admissions Portal Account
- Upload PDF of Candiate Photo
- Upload PDF of Birth Certificate or Passport
- Upload PDF Progress Reports
- Email your current teacher the Baldwin Evaluation Form
- Schedule your Parent Meet and Greet with OECC Principal
Step 5 - Entrance Assessment by appointment

PPK and 2nd round of evaluations for PK-K - Saturday, January 27, 2024

Step 6 - PPK admissions decisions for this group will be published by 4:00pm on February 2, 2024.

*** To coordinate the exam appointment all other requirements must be completed

The following minimum age requirement will apply for students entering Pre Pre-K, Pre-K, and Kindergarten

Pre Pre-Kinder - 3 years of age by July 31
Pre-Kinder - 4 years of age by July 31
Kinder - 5 years of age by July 31

Elementary Grades 1st - 5th

Step 1 - Submit Student Application Form
Step 2 - Open your Admissions Portal Account
Step 3 - Log in to your account and activate the application by processing the $150 Admission Application Fee
Step 4 - complete the following items on your Admissions Portal Account
- Upload PDF of Candiate Photo
- Upload PDF of Birth Certificate or Passport

- Email your current teacher the Baldwin Math and English Evaluation Forms
- Schedule your Candidate Classroom Visit Appointment (Select days in October and November)
Step 5 - Entrance Assessment by appointment

The following minimum age requirement will apply for students entering 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade

1st grade - 6 years of age by July 31

2nd grade - 7 years of age by July 31
3rd grade - 8 years of age by July 31

Middle/Upper School Grades 6th - 11th

Step 1 - Submit Student Application Form
Step 2 - Open your Admissions Portal Account
Step 3 - Log in to your account and activate the application by processing the $150 Admission Application Fee
Step 4 - complete the following items on your Admissions Portal Account
- Upload PDF of Candiate Photo
- Upload PDF of Birth Certificate or Passport
- Upload PDF 2 year of past grades and current year to date
- Email your current teacher the Baldwin Math and English Evaluation Forms
- Schedule your Candidate Classroom Visit Appointment
Step 5 - Entrance Assessment
- Follow Instructions linked here to register and take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).
Step 6 - Candidate Interview Appointment

*** To coordinate the interview appointment all other requirements must be completed

All requirements must be completed in order for applications to be considered including the Non Refundable Application Processing Fee made payable through the admissions portal account.

Admission to Baldwin School is based on a multi-step process including but not limited to the completion of an application (including all required documentation and entrance assessment). The foremost goal of the school’s admission process is to determine whether a student will have a successful and positive academic, social, and emotional experience at Baldwin School.
