Oxman Early Childhood Center

The Oxman Early Childhood Center is a joyful and inspiring place where wonder, curiosity, and play are at the heart of learning. We are deeply committed to nurturing each child’s unique talents, interests, and sense of identity, honoring who they are while supporting who they are becoming.

Our outstanding facilities make OECC a special place for preschoolers from PPK through Kindergarten. Children are encouraged to explore, move, create, and inquire in a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment. Through play-based and developmentally appropriate experiences, students build strong foundations in cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Our classrooms intentionally use the Responsive Classroom approach, creating environments where each child is seen, heard, and valued. Through purposeful routines, meaningful interactions, and joyful learning experiences, children develop a strong sense of belonging, build positive relationships, learn to regulate their emotions, and grow in confidence as learners.

Our dedicated team of educators partners closely with families, recognizing that strong home–school connections are essential to each child’s growth. Guided by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), we create meaningful learning experiences that invite young children to ask questions, make connections, collaborate with peers, and take ownership of their learning in age-appropriate ways.

Through our curriculum, children are encouraged to embody the IB Learner Profile by becoming inquirers as they explore their world, communicators as they express ideas in English and Spanish, caring as they learn empathy and respect for others, and thinkers as they solve problems through play and inquiry. Our integrated approach to language, mathematics, science, and social studies fosters international-mindedness and helps children grow into reflective, confident, and principled learners.
