Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome to The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico, a community so many of us are proud to call home.

 

Baldwin is a place where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to discover what they are capable of accomplishing. From their earliest years at the OECC through graduation, they learn within a community that believes in them and takes great pride in seeing them grow.

 

At the heart of that experience are our teachers. They bring our IB curriculum to life through their knowledge, creativity, and genuine care for their students. They recognize that excellent teaching is not only about what happens during a lesson. It is also found in the relationships they build, the questions they encourage, and the confidence they help develop in every student.

 

Our commitment to teacher excellence reflects a belief that has long been part of Baldwin: investing in our teachers is an investment in our students. By continuing to support their professional growth and providing the resources they need, we allow our educators to make purposeful use of our extraordinary campus and create learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, and relevant.

 

That commitment to education also extends beyond Baldwin. Through the Baldwin Summer Institute, our faculty share their experience with educators from Puerto Rico’s public school system. It is one of the ways we contribute to education throughout the island and live our mission beyond the boundaries of our campus.
